AAMOF, I have been storing everthing in RCS for years.
Perl, SQL, PL/SQL, init.ora, crontab files, .profile, .kshrc, oratab, etc.
The crontab files are especially useful when someone starts
mucking around with crontab -e.
Doing so with SPFILE is a good idea. Just haven 't started using
SPFILE yet, as I have not it found it necessary yet.
